A data packet — painted as a small paper envelope sealed with wax — crosses a dark, charted sea between two lamplit harbors labeled SENDER and RECEIVER. Dotted voyage lines split and rejoin around ink-sketched reefs marked CONGESTION, and a compass rose in the corner is labeled ROUTING TABLE. Hand-lettered notes in the margins explain each leg of the journey, as if some patient naturalist had watched packets migrate for years.
